Fans cannot wait till an emulator is released for "Pokemon X and Y," allowing it to be played on computers and laptops. A Neoseeker member, Dilute, asked if any 3DS emulator has been released to support the latest "Pokemon X and Y" edition.

However, the forum's moderator, Squiggle, told the member that they would have to wait about 9 months for it to be released.  before the actual worldwide release of "Pokemon X and Y."

But fans and forum members are not convinced with free ROM downloads of several Web sites, as they require taking a survey test before any downloads are performed which they treat as fake or may otherwise contain viruses.
